BMS Families,

We hope you are enjoying the warm weather and relaxed pace of the summer break. This past school year your student has been very dedicated to their studies and achieved the best results, so this summer vacation is well deserved. We at BMS want to wish you unlimited joy and infinite fun! Our hope is that the summer rejuvenates your student, so that their return is full of energy and enthusiasm.

Special thanks to PTO members Molli Jackson, Pam Fulmer and Angie Miranda. If you would like to be a member of our PTO please call the BMS main office.

Student Ambassadors organized a Walk for Kindness fundraiser at the end of the year that generated $962.25.  Money was donated to the Logan County Cancer Society.

When you visit us at the beginning of the school year, you will notice we have a new mural installed in the main hallway of our school. Last spring, Mrs. Antram-Ingraham and all of her art students worked very hard creating this beautiful addition to our school.

Our custodial staff have been hard at work cleaning our school to make sure everything is bright and shiny for the start of school. They always do an incredible job making sure the school is ready for your return.

Sixth grade parents please mark your calendars to attend our Orientation August 10th. The staff at BMS feel strongly about providing this opportunity for you and your student(s) to drop off school supplies, and meet their teachers prior to the first day. Our goal is to be teaching and learning on the first day, without a second to lose. Please plan to attend.

The week of July 24th letters and Emergency Medical forms will be sent home to 7th and 8th grade parents. You need to bring the medical form filled out before your son or daughter can receive their schedule for the upcoming school year.

First day for students will be August 15th. We will post the day and times that 7th and 8th graders may pick up schedules on this website and in the Bellefontaine Examiner. Look for those dates and times in early August.

As always, you are key to your child's education, we look forward to your continued involvement in the coming school year. We hope you enjoy your summer break.

Yours Truly,

Mrs. Holycross and Mr. Yoder
